Model study in mice: Topical rapamycin and its potential role in the treatment of psoriasis

Topical application of the mTOR inhibitor rapamycin has shown promising activity in the ­treatment of imiquimod-induced psoriasis in mice.

The study demonstrates the functional importance of mTOR signalling in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
