Differenzierter Therapiealgorithmus bei ­degenerativen Rupturen der Achillessehne

Im Unterschied zur akuten Achillessehnen-Ruptur stellt die chronische ­Achillessehnen-Ruptur eine Verletzung auf degenerativer Basis dar.

Da es sich im Bereich der Achillessehne um bradytrophes Gewebe handelt, ist in der degenerativen Situation das Selbstheilungspotenzial sehr gering.

Dementsprechend ist dieses Krankheitsbild eine Domäne der chirurgischen Therapie. Entsprechend des Defektausmaßes kommen verschiedene Rekonstruktionsverfahren zur Anwendung.
